I could feel the excruciating pain in my throat as it burned in thirst; my eyes soon locked on my prey. I finally realized that I had an urge for bloodshed.

      I made the site and all the coding--except the order form. Yes, it was difficult to make. The layout took long because of difficulties and the background was messed up. Then there was this whole problem with the text-areas and links and yeahh. The site is still ... being worked on kind of. anyways. That's all I have to say. Toodles.

      I'm actually. Alive. So much for my new years resolution though. It's all because of America's Best Dance Crew!! It was so intense! Oh how I love quest crew to death, Ryan Conferido is my idol! So I will start working on Scarlet again since once more, I have no inspiration on anything whatsoever! I just need to reinstall my Microsoft Word and I'll be good to go.
      So with life, I had a difficult choice in choosing either music or art. That was such a difficult choice for me because if I didn't take art next year, I wouldn't be able to take it ever again! In the end of this hard trek of confusion and such, I chose art. Along with that choice I decided I would want to be some sort of music teacher, because it seems like the most fun job in the world. Art is a passion to me, but it's just a hobby.
      I don't have much to say. I'm still thinking of making a new layout. Oh, and don't forget. I will work on Scarlet. I am determined to get that story straight and to write it the best way possible, no matter the difficulties down the path.

      Alright, so... I honestly just typed ; 2008. on the update. -laugh- So, it's a new year, and my two main resolutions are to work on scarlet more and this graphic novel I just started recently.
      So, I'm actually rewriting scarlet--again. This time in Nathan's perspective. And, I am now on chapter two. Yes, the chapters will be quite short for easy reading. Personally, I love short chapters because late at night, when I read a novel I always say to myself; "Okay, just one more chapter." Then I find out that the chapter is about 20 pages long, even though I read it anyways... So yeah, it's just so that people can keep a better track of the chapters.
      I actually just wrote chapter one last night... I wrote endlessly while watching last year's American Idol. (yes, because american idol is so much more better than canadian idol) And I had a couple breaks to watch my sister play Final Fantasy; Crisis Core. I only watched her when Cloud was finally in the story and Aerith started to date Zack.
      So, to get away from side tracking, I'll need to put adobe photoshop back onto my computer so that I can update Scarlet more. I'll need to clean the site up a bit, I'm planning on a new layout; I just don't know how yet. I think that's it... so I'll be continuing my work... since I am at work.

      HAPPY EARLY NEW YEARS. and, happy birthday to one of my friends ;D she's finally fourteen! haha no matter what, she;s the youngest in my friends. So yeah, its almost 2009 !? Lately my computer crashed, and now its up and running. I'm actually going to rewrite.. scarlet... all over again . haha, the new version won't be in Allison's percpective though, it'll be by Nathan! But right now, I've been to busy with drawing because I'm into that again .. so I'm playing around with styles and ways to draw. So yeah, nothing much .
      OH, merry late christmas!!! haha, i got some pretty neat things, and I love them all . so yeaaah, I don't really have anything to say, so yeah. haha byebye -joannamarie

      [Skip this paragraph for Scarlet updates] So, today was my friend's birthday. He's finally 14, and yet we've agreed that he's my older brother. Even though I was born in February... -snort-. It's just because he's so much taller than me :D! So anyways, he had asked me to draw him a picture of Snake from Metal Gear Solid... a week ago. I drew it last minute last night. It was originally in colour... but I messed that up, so I decided to just draw it with a brown pencil crayon. It was pretty good for a last minute drawing with shading--no pencil used.
      There aren't really any updates for Scarlet. I wrote about a page since... the last time I wrote, haha. I'm working on chapter three -squeal-, but I honestly don't have enough time to work on Scarlet, just wait until the winter break comes, then I'll seriously write (hopefully). I've been busy with life complications, my homework is piling up, trying to read a book, clearing my mind, trying to find time to learn a song on piano... etc. It's harder in High School, you don't have as much free time. Especially now since I have work and that I have to babysit almost everyday. It is quite tiring. I've been making quotes that revolve around my life though, it's quite amusing.
      Like for instance; (my favourite quote that I've ever made.)
"It's like the four strings were tangled by destiny."
      I wrote that when I was on the vurge of tears (: My life was seemed like it just crashed on a certain day, and three people other than myself were involved. It was weird. That quote practically has it's own story behind it. I might actually write some sort of short story for that quote, since it helped me figure some things out in life.
      SO anyways, with more scarlet updates; I'm planning on changing the layout to a more simpler outlook. But that will be a surprise, I don't know if I'll ever get that wonderfull Scarlet trailer my friend said she would make, or actually have a chance to publish because my brother-in-law (geoff) doesn't have enough time to function a site like that. So, I think that is all in updating my life and Scarlet.

      Kay, I am going to whiz through the Scarlet updates right now. First; I actually worked on chapter two today. Haha. And I edited chapter one. I'm thinking of changing the layout for the new version, I'm not sure yet. I don't know if I can get that Scarlet surprise before Christmas either. Oh, and I also took out the Monthly songs because it doesn't go with the storyline as much anymore. (the last paragraph also has scarlet stuff)
      Now that that is out of the way, I am going to talk about Twilight. Ha ha. I went to the premier ish thing here in the city. I was one of the first to watch it here, I waited TWO hours for it to start. We stood in a line for an hour until they let us sit down and wait another hour. People started screaming when previews went on. It was phenominal though. It's such a great movie, but of course the movie is nothing compared to the book. It was fantastic though, I honestly loved it. You just have to watch it without thinking about the book. But there are things thatll make you laugh only because you read the book. I honestly loved Bella's Lullaby, it fit perfectly into the story. They took out a lot of scenes, I'll admit that, but other than that it was a great movie. It was fantastic. It was worth the wait. I had the greatest seats too. At the top of the seats directly in the middle. Thankfully I wasn't sitting beside the people who always screamed. I was actually sitting beside people who were making fun of the people who screamed. It was enjoyable. Then after the movie, it was amusing to hear everyone complain how horrible it was. But it was pretty good if you dont think about the book. I'm sorry guys, but not because I hate Jacob but he was nothing what I thought. Sharkboy's too tall. And Jasper's expressions are hilarious, and so hot when he played baseball. I honestly loved all the actors, Kristen Stewart didn't sound as husky as in the trailers, and Robert Pattinson was beautiful. ROSALIE IS BEAUTIFUL TOO. Emmett, Carlisle and Esme is exactly what I pictured him. Alice was so in character that it was hard to believe. Jessica is a slut. And Mike Newton reminds me of Jayson.
      Haha, so other than that, I haven't been really working on scarlet. Haha, I'm learning some new slow songs on the piano, and I'm getting my writing back. So just be patient as I write more.

      Scarlet updates... HMM, I finished chapter one of my rewriting process. It's only 8 pages! Be so darn happy. It's so much more easier to keep track of where you leave off if the chapters are short. Anyways, I still have to edit the chapter and put it on the site. Yeah, I'm starting to type on word now instead of directly onto the site. It takes more time though because I can't work on it at my work, but it's... easier for me... in a way. So anyways, I'm working on chapter two already, but since I have to self edit chapter one, chapter two will be put on hold. Why? Because my editor is lazy is busy with all of this school work. (:
      My school had a band concert yesterday. We did pretty dang good, and my jazz band did pretty dang good with learning a song last minute. Haha. So anyways, pretty much all of the grade niners was hanging out in the band room during the concert (we were told not to) BUT WE DID IT ANYWAYS. Because I'm a rebel like that. Haha, just kidding as if. I just wanted to play with the piano instead of listening to songs I dont know by the older bands. Haha.
      So anyways, we got caught of course, and were kicked out of the band room. BUT our teachers weren't that mad. They were pretty awesome. So everyone went to sit down and listen to the older Jazz Bands. Then, me and my friends began to make fun of the pianist. Why? Because she was so into the song that she was dancing. So now, my friend who is the piano player in our jazz band said he would dance while he played. YES. I think I would burst out laughing instead of playing the songs.
      I hardly had any sleep, so I'll probably edit scarlet tomorrow... because I'm lazy like that. There are so many mistakes and typos that it's not even funny. Well, that's all I guess. Nothing more 8) OH I NEVER SAID THAT I WENT TO JABBAWOCKEEZ ON REMEMBRANCE DAY. It was completely EPIC. I was second row, and my friend had a solo on stage. I was so happy where i sat. But sadly, there was a tall asian guy sitting in front of me, so that pissed me off. I could've met them if I was eighteen to go to the club. But no0o0o. Haha, that's all I guess.

      It's remembrance day. A very, very crucial day for some people in the world who have suffered great losses. And our ceremony at school seemed extremely short to me. High School is so different from Middle School. The ceremony lasted about half an hour, as in my old school it was about an hour or more.
      So, I must say my Scarlet updates. I AM REWRITING SCARLET
      Yes, it is true, I am. One, I've hated the first chapter for the most longest time. Two, it's honestly going to fast. Three, it is awfully boring. Four, I've been dying to for the most longest time in the history of Scarlet. It does sadden me that I wasted seven chapter though, it honestly does. But look at it this way-- the chapters will be shorter, it will make more sense aaaand, it'll be more entertaining. I hope anyways. I'm more excited than ever.
      Also, I think my publishing is going down the drain. Geoff -- my sister's husband -- has still never launched that wonderful website that he said he would create, and now my dreams seem like it is shattering. But of course, I refuse to give up. I love Scarlet to the bottom of my heart, and my characters seem even more real than ever.
      I finished the 7th book of Cirque du freak today. And the moment that Darren "purged" I got annoyed. As if vampires are blinded by light in Cirque du Freak as well. I have similarities in both Twilight and Cirque du Freak. Which is making me extremely annoyed. Not once have I ever intended that. And what is also similar in Cirque du Freak and Scarlet, is that they have that sort of council, except my council seems more evil than those in Vampire Mountain. I think my council similars to those of the Vampaneze, the beliefs anyways. So, please be patient as I rewrite Scarlet, once again.

      I NEED TO UPDATE SOMETHING. I feel bad. I still didnt work on a BIT of chapter seven. Not even a SENTENCE was forged. But I managed to write a part of Nathan's past in his perspective so, this is what I'm updating. It's not a lot but its worth an update. Haha . I guess that it's a spoiler... for chapter seven . haha

Update Snippet:
      It seemed like nothing to a human but this was something so much more to me. It was pure torture as the blood slowly dripped from her knee; the blood seeped through the cut skin and trickled down her leg. The scent immediately rushed to my nostrils, burning with no end. My throat burned in thirst, and my mind was clouded with bloodlust.
      Everything suddenly revolved around this human; her name suddenly didn’t come to me. There was one thing I knew about her though; she was my prey, and I was her predator. I took a step forward, only thinking about every little waste of every drip of the pure scarlet. It was thick and pure. It looked clean and satisfying. I saw the blood that pumped beneath her skin, the luscious aroma continued to burn in the back of my throat. Only a couple seconds passed, and she still looked at her scrape as she sat on the ground.
      I could feel my eyes darken, the lust for blood continued to cloud my mind.
      “Nathan?”
      I blinked at the chime of her voice. It echoed in my mind, clearing my eyes and my thoughts for a fraction of a second. But that fraction was all I needed. Her voice continued to echo, it chimed beautifully through my mind like piano notes.

      [skip to second paragraph] Winter came out of no where. And I hate it. Why must I live in Canada where it's so cold ! And to top it all off, I have a horrible winter jacket... ha ha. So, I had a bad day today. I had THREE hours of sleep. No breakfast, the doors on my family car was iced shut and it took us a long time to open it. I was capable of unlocking it but it was impossible to open it because of the ice. So I went to school early like usual, didn't feel like playing the piano in choir, didn't even feel like singing. Then clarinet noises made my head spin, and then I had jazz band. Something I didn't really want. I didn't even have lunch because of jazz band too. So after lunch it went better, we pretty much got free time. We played signal, which was uber fun. Then POP QUIZ in social. It wasn't that bad... and then we hung out that class too. So the afternoon at school wasn't bad. I had to take the bus to work, I'm so tired, I have a headache and I want to go home.
      So anyways, on with Scarlet updates.
      There's nothing to update. Other than the fact that its been over a month of me hardly working on chapter seven. I hate how school does this to me. I haven't really been on the computer lately this week and.. I really want to change the layout of the site... but I like the current one. So anyways, I'm getting more readers for Scarlet ! Yay, and I'm still hoping for the Scarlet surprise that may come around Christmas or earlier. I'm really hoping that I don't have to wait for the new year. I'm excited for the surprise, and so is Cherry, we will be able to witness the making of the surprise (yes, it isn't by us!) and I'm waiting so much for it, and anticipating for people to help with it. I can't help, because that's impossible. I think that's it. So I will go now. Because I am off in nine minutes.

      I honestly completely forgot about the now monthly song. Oh my. Haha. Anyways, I changed it today. Kind of annoying to do but it's all good. The Halloween surprising are no longer available, they will be uploaded hopefully around the Christmas time or even earlier. Chapter seven has been put on hold until I actually get unlazy. I doubt I will post a character and cars page onto the site as we've been saying that since August and never came around to it.
      I've also hit a dilemma, I feel like I want to start Scarlet all over again, but I doubt I will because of laziness. But I feel like the story is suddenly wrong. I've actually been thinking this for a while now, but I feel that it would be unfair if I started all over. And, I feel that if I started all over that I would suddenly change the whole story line and all of the characters. The Nathan that you read about will probably turn into his opposite, something like what I plan for him in the second book. If I ever finish the first one anyways.
      So for Halloween, (this is the life stuff guys.) I dressed up as a japanese school girl. and yeah. One blue eye, one brown eye. (: I apparently looked like a st. mary's school girl. And I was like, alrighty then. And then my friend was like "Hi school girl!" and I thought she said, "High School Girl." and I felt confused. I skipped the Halloween dance and played Rock Band and discovered the greatest song in the world; Still Alive by GLaDOS. It's so evil . "Even though you're dead, I'm still alive" Haah, I adore that song. So then I went to work and awaited my cousin to come. After work we went to meet my friends at mcdonalds, and then yeah. We went trick or treating and attempted to make my friend guilty. I have no idea if it worked. Overall, it was so fun. My friend got a blow-up bat in her trick or treat bag ! I was jealous. Other than that, I read three books of Cirque du freak and I'm going to try to get the 6th book and read it. That's all I thiiink, byee .

      I forgot to change the song yesterday! I'll do it tonight though, I swear! I kind of got too caught up into watching Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children last night. (skip this paragraph if you want) Being the dork I am, I got so into the movie that I went and looked for pictures of Cloud to draw. And then my sister's husband; or Geoff (as I said before) went on the internet on our Wii and looked up the endings for all of the final fantasies on playstation. We both love FFX, and FFVIII and FFIX was gay. No offense to people who love that one. So anyways, after we watched those endings I showed him FF versus XIII. And then he happened to say; "Is that the one with him in a chair?" and I immediately said yes. Which made me want to draw that scene. But the pictures of that scene are either too small or too blurry. So I got Noctis in the car. That is what I am drawing now, and once I finish. I will so post it here on the site. I don't care if it isn't Scarlet related. Haha.
(this is an also nonsense paragraph that doesnt concern scarlet whatsoever) I beat my friend who plays piano so crazily finally. On piano, using the menu theme fro Super Smash Bros. Melee. That is the song to beat a guy with. It really does beat Mortal Combat. And then during band (yes, I'm a band geek) we played the chocobo song together. Because he knows the right hand and I know... half of the left) I got free pizza today, and I'm going to watch passhendaele for school tomorrow in the theatre! I am excited and the symphony is on thursday and Halloween on Friday. The week is the best.
      ALRIIGHT. Enough of life. I will most likely procrastinate on chapter seven once again. Because that is my nature. I'm going to be into piano and drawing for awhile (ah, my old self). I still wonder when my EDITOR will finally EDIT chapters 3-6. THREE TO SIX !! How sad ! So that is all I believe. Nothing really more. Haha, expect a song tonight !
